Credense

The technological layer of the city, consisting of traffic and pedestrian control systems, online services, digital platforms, and economies, creates new types of infrastructures - tangible but invisible in everyday experience. The Future Cities festival integrates artist's work into the city's invisible digital infrastructure and redefines the traditional notion of public art.

The Speech of the Transparency Dictat

alt text

The Speech of the Transparency Dictate is a reflection on the contemporary nature of solitude, the phantasms generated by isolation, and the communicative potential hidden in the gaze that opens a conversation between the screen, the subject and the beholder.

A man was walking along the canal embankment and constantly repeated one phrase: ‘‘It will rain, my body, hands and legs will be hewed’’. Harsh, rhythmically repeated words, which are not addressed to anyone, but time after time, claiming the right to own and manipulate their own, and possibly another’s body, captured attention.

IT WILL START RAINING, THE BODY IS MINE, ARMS AND LEGS I SHALL CHOP

Viewers can access fantastical scenes with the help of 3D glasses. Remaining in physical reality, the viewer is transported into the reality of the works in a way that, for the artist, is similar to what happens when one stands in front of a painting.

The Elbow Room

alt text

The space of the room presents itself to us. A light touch, a formally attenuated visual effect through imagery creates a position for perception, indicates a direction in space. This direction of recognition of the ordinary visual field relegates the image to the level of a data set and determines the possibility of its connection.

This project relates to the idea of the fragment as a possible way of constructing an image. The starting point is the space of the business centre where the exhibition takes place. Step by step, the image of either a guest or a lost office client tries to form amongst the usual everyday plastics.

Inter

alt text

INTER is a media resource that makes active use of forms of media realism. It builds a relationship between the world of musical content and the image space, building a situation that is typical for a business presentation, where the viewer is included in the fabric of the performance as a necessary participant or even partner.

The series consists of simple subjects: a man in front of a mirror, a child sitting on the ground, a group of people doing elementary things. The people depicted are immersed in themselves, their surroundings do not interest them too much, they seem aloof in this empty space, they are partly hidden or hiding something.

The Secret level

alt text

The desire for a more beautiful life becomes a social element of play" (Johan Huizinga. Homo Ludens). Painting, born on the border between the real and the illusory, plunges into an irrational and indeterminate space. Expressed at the formal level in the combination of abstract and figurative artistic language.
